Our Cinnamon Walnut Babka begins with a rich, slowly fermented sourdough brioche that’s tender, flavorful, and full of character. Each loaf is hand-twisted and generously filled with a fragrant swirl of warm cinnamon, cardamom, toasted walnuts, and grass-fed butter.
You can freeze the babka for up to a month. To refresh, thaw the loaf at room temperature while still wrapped (about 30 minutes), then unwrap completely, place on a baking sheet, and warm in a 300°F oven for around 15 minutes.
Ingredients: organic bread flour, organic sourdough levain (water, organic rye and wheat flour), organic eggs, organic milk, grass-fed butter, toasted walnuts, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, organic unrefined sugar, sea salt.
