Our chocolate babka starts with a slowly fermented sourdough brioche, filled with a rich, indulgent blend of dark chocolate and nutty tahini - a combination that complements each other beautifully.
You can freeze the babka for up to a month. To refresh, thaw the loaf at room temperature while still wrapped (about 30 minutes), then unwrap completely, place on a baking sheet, and warm in a 300°F oven for around 15 minutes.
Ingredients: organic bread flour, organic sourdough levain (water, organic rye and wheat flour), organic eggs, organic milk, grass fed butter, tahini, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, vanilla, organic unrefined sugar, sea salt.
